I spent an afternoon with Tony Goldwyn (President on Scandal) under fairly random circumstances. Just us + 1 other friend of mine. He was really nice and wanted to chat about politics/my job when he heard I worked for State. I don’t know if it was for his character or just an interest, but he was shockingly up on international law/policy.

In F-list celebrities, I spent an evening with the cast of MST3K, who were hilarious and kind. It’s a standout moment in my relationship with DH. (And now I’ve outed myself to any of my friends who read this board. )


Totally agree. Incredibly kind and gracious and grateful to both fans and "real" people (heard him talking with law enforcement officers and he was thanking them for what they do, etc).

Bill Murray twice. He’s a weird guy. Both times he wanted to hang out more with us, a group of 20 somethings, men and women. Like, he just wanted to party and be a kid.

Met Donnie Wahlberg at his hotel after a concert, he came out and spent several hours with the fans, making sure we all got our picture taken with him, he talked to us and was very gracious.

He was very tired but did this for us - wonderful !

That being said, I met Charisma Carpenter at a fan meet and greet (meaning: she was paid to be there, plus made money from autographs and pictures) and she was unpleasant to be around. Showed up late, no apologies, and insisted on using "pretty" filters via instagram and snapchat when she took pictures with fans. Total letdown.


Bill Cosby was an asshole. So was T.I. Period-T.

Food for thought: while I'm sure some of the rude people listed are actually rude a lot of the time, it might be nice to give people the benefit of the doubt. They may have been having a hard day.

Leonardo DiCaprio - kind of an asshole

Tony Goldwyn - very "normal person," not pretentious at all

All of the living presidents and most of the presidential candidates. Obama is a truly good guy. Smart, engaging, fun to be around.

Steve Jobs, when after 99.9 percent he was the father of his daughter on the stand he was in court, lied. Then went on to have more children and ignored his other daughters. Oh and didn't buy his first daughter socks or shoes too her to an outdoor event when it was 40 degrees outside. Horrible parent! Everyone still loves him..,,,
