This. Family is much more critical than activities.

Does Hop, Skip, Drive not exist where you are in the world OP (or a like service)?

I wouldn't put my minor in an Uber or Lyft on their own.

I let my 10yo ride the bus. I'd do that over uber -- is that an option?

OP, share "roughly" your kids ages and activities. Also does your nanny drive? If your oldest is 11, you might be having your kids do too much. Also what about setting up a carpool with some of the activities - like you drop off and another parent brings your kid home. Also an 11 year old is old enough to have a wait around a little while. Say you need to pick up two kids from different activities at the same time, just have your 11 year old read a book in a safe place (lobby, etc.) and wait on you.

I would definitely revisit your schedule and see how you can simplify. Needing three different drivers for only three small kids sounds excessive in terms of their schedule.

Also people are giving you a hard time but a lot of people are in a similar situation at times and they carpool or they have grandparents around, helping with the driving.

Why don't you tell us WHY this is so hard? What's on their schedules? Honestly it sounds like they are overscheduled.

Do you either stay home or have a very part time job (I know many surgeon families, no way you have 3 and work FT).

And you have a nanny. And your oldest is 11...

You have way bigger problems then not having a carpool.
