FWIW, $10-15 is reasonable for 2 and 4, but $15-20 for 2yo twins and 4yo.

Kids can be paid less than minimum wage. It’s an incentive to hire kids so that they get work experience. Babysitters (not regular employment) aren’t required to be paid minimum wage.

This. Teenagers are more than capable of babysitting young children but with 3 under 5 you really do need a second set of hands.

I don’t know where you live, but the minimum wage in VA is $7ish.

Minimum wage is $14/hour.
