If I am wrong, OP I am so sorry this happened to you.

If a doctor in the DC area had to recuse themselves of any patient that had had an abortion they would have very few patients left. On top of that, if they have religious issues there are practices that are very pro-life and upfront about that that they can join.
OP if this happened to you I'm very sorry but it's not the norm.
Not trolling-but thanks. And I don't think the problem is that I've had one-I think the problem is that I had one while they were my doctor. It's kind of a complicated situation.
This explains it a bit better. It’s not only that the doctor is pro-life and judgy (and probably a jerk), it’s also something else with the doctor-patient relationship.
Have you read the whole thread? The post where OP directly quotes the doctor saying she won’t see her anymore because of her abortion? You don’t have to think that was wrong but at least admit reality.
This doesn’t explain it at all. The OP doesn’t know why her doctor will no longer see her. She thinks she knows why- she is guessing. She “thinks” her doctor won’t see her because she got an abortion while she was his patient. I am sorry but I don’t buy it. There is more to this than OP is letting on. This sounds too far fetched.
I never saw a quote from the doctor that said that. Please copy and paste where it says that the doctor said to her that he won’t see her because she had an abortion.
Op here. I just quoted where I wrote what the doctor said above because I corrected a spelling error. I'm not sure why you are so dead set on me only speculating that this is the case. This was a regular appointment and only after I shared this with them did they say this. They weren't mean about it, it was more of a matter of fact type thing. It's not like I got run out of the office and forced to wear a sign but I feel terribly uncomfortable there now so just looking for a whole new practice.

Any doctor who is good will not judge you or pry into anything you would not like to discuss.
Up to you whether you want to bring your records they are yours so your choice.
And some of this practices are at Catholic hospitals. Not everything is black and white.

The exact words were "unfortunately I don't feel comfortable seeing you as a patient anymore but would be happy to refer you to someone else in the practice". I can't go to that office even to see a different doctor anymore though, because I'd see my pervious doctor and I don't want to continuously feel like I'm being judged.
But I am happy to know this isn't the norm.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Thanks you guys. My previous obgyn won't see me anymore because of this so that is why I was concerned. And it's a CWC doctor. Do you think in general a female would be understanding/supportive? And do You think I can basically say I had a d&c and leave it at that?
You need to report this doctor.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Capital Women’s Care. Any doctor who openly judges a patient should not be a doctor. That is very old school. Maybe you are perceiving something that isn’t there OP.
The doctor will not longer see her as a patient. How would OP be perceiving something that isn’t there?
But maybe the termination has nothing to do with that. It could be for other reasons. Unless the doctor told her that he won’t see her again because she had an abortion, I find it very hard to believe that this is the reason he won’t see her anymore.
OP literally said "my doctor won't see me anymore because of this" and you are hijacking the thread to insist that she is 1) imagining that she was fired as a patient, or in the alternative 2) imagining the reason she was fired as a patient ... why, exactly? What do you have to gain by calling her a liar?
