Haven't started yet. I usually just get my parents gift certificates to go out or away somewhere. I'll pick something up when I'm local before Christmas Eve.

Past gifts that have been well received include memory books/photo albums from the year (some just of the kids, like for halloween, but mostly of things we've done together as a family), a nice portable speaker, lego architecture sets (they are all retired, and also usually save these to do with the kids when the kids visit), donations to a favorite charity, a watercolor book and set (the new "adult coloring"), a really nice cozy throw blanket.
Can you link the picture frames? We have out of town family and I love that idea!

No, haven’t started except for the family members we only see at thanksgiving. But we only exchange tickets to things

Gift certificate to High Tea - my MIL took a friend and they loved it.
Tennis rackets (they picked out before hand)
Bottles of Wine
Fleece Robes - they live in an old drafty house
Tickets to plays/musicals
Tickets to concerts
Blankets with all the grandkids names on them
Digital picture frame loaded with pictures of grandkids and other family members

No. Haven’t started.
We match the level of thought and cost.
One side gives little things like a book or scarf or hairbrush of minimal costs and thought. The other side gives lodging, toys/games, tickets to things, or coordinates things needed (instapot, winter coat) and puts in more thought.

In my family we are scaling back so the adults draw names, but my kids will give something small to my parents (like an ornament they pick out or make).
I always struggle with my ILs. They have everything, yet are really into gift giving. FIL golfs so sometimes we get him golf balls, etc. but MIL has no hobbies except for maybe cooking so it’s tough. Maybe we will do one of the Shutterfly photo calendars or something like that this year.

Calendar with each month having pictures of their grandkids.
Cork collector thing-y. They are wine conesuirs so I thought it would be a good idea.
A really nice sweater from like Brooks Brothers or the like for FIL.
Kids give presents to ILs and my folks too (simple things like a spatula, coasters, trinkets,...whatever they pick out) .

We don’t do xmas presents just do xmas cards for us & family. If there is anything I want I just buy it when I want it. Same for DH. Works for us!

My mom hardly ever buys herself anything. She loves skincare. Sephora is running their Rouge 20% off sale so I talked to my brothers and we got her a Tatcha Radiant skin set. We also plan to get her a weekend at a spa. It's pricey but split 3 ways it's very manageable and mom deserves it.
Our dad will get a card because he is a jerk and that is all he deserves.
My H has yet to shop for his parents.

I am very far from done Christmas shopping, however, all of our adult relatives are getting a photo calendar of our kids, and tickets.
My mom is getting two tickets to a concert, so she can invite a friend, since we won't see her over the holidays.
On my husband's side of the family, the siblings are all chipping in, and we're taking each other, the grandparents, and the grandkids out to eat and to a Caps game.

I'm a food snob and I love Harry and David pears. Or is there some political reason not to support them? I can't keep track of who I am supposed to be boycotting on a daily basis.

Harry and David pears are awesome. If you don't like pears, you might not get it. Is there some particular reason to avoid Harry and David?! Their Moose Mix or whatever popcorn is also great.
