Felt a little gimmicky to me. Especially when he had actually been putting in the work to become a better person, though of course in some ways he still just didn't get it.

Hate Season 2. It’s all over the place, too many trendy topics popping up every 5 minutes, new characters not explained, and layers and layers of lying and back stabbing is confusing.
Alex is getting thrown under the bus nonstop too. By people who can’t seem to remember what actually happened season 1. Magnifies the general theme that it’s a terrible place and industry to work in with selfish Aholes playing each other nonstop.
