So far for the playoffs we’ve been given first dibs on our 4 seats, plus the right to buy 4 additional seats. I will be so mad if we don’t have the right to at least get our own seats.
Presumably someone’s name is on the account, are you sure that person hasn’t heard anything? The pickings were incredibly slim an hour after pre-sale opened today, so if you haven’t bought tickets yet, I wouldn’t plan on it.
Ok, season ticket holder reporting back. Our account manager was contacted by the Nats sales team, we have the right to all World Series Games in DC to our original 4 seats and the rights to 4 additional seats in another section. I don't know the price, but the playoff games have been substantially more expensive than our regular game price. We are not a mini plan group, we are a full season ticket all game group that's been together since the Nats came to DC, so I don't know if there is seniority/loyalty given here or not, but we are very happy that we will have the right of first refusal to our tickets, which are right behind the dugout.

We bought NLCS tickets directly from the Nats (which was part of the requirement); haven't received any kind of email. Or maybe they'll send a link but nothing will be available anyway.
$800 for standing room is bad enough but then the service fees on sites like Stubhub are nearly $175/ticket. Just no.
I wouldn't bet on it. First time the Nats are in the world series and I think there are some growing pains with how they're going about this and overpromised. Or maybe they'll hold back something like 1000 tickets for this purpose.
Funny because in 2012, I could swear that NLCS and world series tickets were released while Nats were still in the NLDS. Clearly jumped the shark on that one but it enabled fans who were paying attention to buy tickets for the whole way through.

I don’t know if our group manager has heard anything but I literally just got an email offering me World Series tickets if I buy a new season ticket plan.

That would be bullshit.
Why? The plan holders should be able to use their seats, and then the partial and multi-game ticket holders. You know, the ones who have supported the team for years.
Check on StubHub, there will be tickets available, but why do you think you are entitled to public sale tickets?
We went to multiple games a year from RFK until we moved out of state two years ago... I’d say watching 100+ games of baseball each year on TV is a pretty high level of support. We just want to drive back to DC and see them in the World Series! Pretty sure those tickets on Stubhub marked up like crazy belong to plan members looking to make some $$$.
DP. I get where you’re coming from, but do you really think you have some greater claim to priority than the people who have already been putting up a lot of money to regularly show up in person for games?.
