So, if we understand the logic of your post, DC is packed with a dazzlingly attractive as well as successful population -- emigrating from lower opportunity areas?


Not dazzlingly attractive, but marginally more attractive than Cincinnati. The relationship between looks and income has been well documented. This is especially true for women. DC is consistently rated as one of the fittest metro areas in the country, so to the extent that being in shape is attractive, it would seem to be true that DC is more attractive than Cincinnati, or Cleveland, or Boise.

I agree that this list has a lot of cultural bias. Sunnyvale is primarily Indian and other south east asian men which may not be attractive to American and Europeon standards but I'm sure is attractive to some people.
