I don’t understand who could possibly meet the criteria for asylum if the gentleman from Mauritania does not. Does anyone qualify in this era?

I have come to the conclusion that these go hand in hand and are hard to separate.
You are in just as much danger from crime in a poor Baltimore ghetto

I have no idea what the solution is, but for many this seems to be the one chance they have to catch up to modern times and better themselves.

Lives are increasingly mobile, it has become the norm.
I wish them well, but America is not their only option.
Life in Canada is great, people move all the time.

I fail to see how it would be a terrible thing to migrate somewhere else

The US IMO is not a good option. There are definitely better options. However, when you have things like the anti-poverty bill, and people who want to give illegals government benefits, well, of course, they want to come here. There are plenty of incentives compared to other countries.

The little boy Noah looks a lot like my son. Super hard to watch.

The interaction at the ICE center shows just how contentious these proceedings are.

I dont understand why you wouldnt want a productive, loving family to be in the US.

And the lawyer is right-there is no longer any discretion and it is sickening.
