fake and unpersuasive tough talk. the prosecution and FH were not far away from agreed punishment.

FH's defense and I assure, Huffman herself, were adamant about no jail time.

I assure you this is just the worse thing that could happen to poor, little her.

And considering 90% of DCUM thought she wouldn't get jail time at all - sweet, sweet justice.

14 days is nothing. She will barely have time to in process, and will likely stay in whatever the local version of the county jail is for the duration and will probably be released a few days early for lack of space. This is not a terrible sentence at all.

Are you kidding me? Poor people get more jail time for having a 10 bag of crack in their pockets, having expired license or registration, or stealing food from the grocery store.

She stole access to a college education and paid a guy to help her do it.

Jail. just like the poor people.

NP. I don’t think the people who committed the crimes you listed should get jail time either.

Lori was strutting around signing autographs at her first court hearing. She knows now that she made a fatal mistake. She can't get out of jail time now and with federal wire fraud charges, looking at a year minimum.

Felicity's sentencing was a bellweather for ALL the parents. Some of them did bribes of several million dollars and they're ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL going to jail.

Honestly I don't care what her community service is. Nothing will top Naomi Campbell in a couture gown picking up trash.

But I read that Felicity wanted to answer photos at a women's shelter or something.

My kids did fair clean up including monitoring the usefulness of porto potties - that would be PERFECT!

Send her to me. I'll be happy to give her some things to do.

I'll let you know if I see her in an orange vest picking up garbage from the side of the I-5 freeway.

She SHOULD be!! lol

River/creek clean ups would be awesome too

Divorce maybe - but it'll be more than 6 months.

A) Aunt Becky and Uncle Massimo plead not guilty (unlike Huffman)
B) Their financial crime is 33X greater than Huffman and they're on the hook for federal charges.
C) As for the fine - IDK, surely it'll be greater than the bribe which was $500K in the first place.

I think the only thing they can hope for is sentences served consecutively rather than concurrently which is what the Guidices did. However they were able to plead that they had young daughters at home who needed at least one parent with them. Both of Becky's daughters are legal adults.

This case wasn’t about merit scholarships. But whatever. Don’t let facts bog you down.

She paid to have her daughter's SAT scores "corrected". She was basically buying her kid's way into a university. She needs to see who she was acing out of a spot on that campus.

And you’re assuming it’s your poor kids who would have been accepted to the unknown college where FH’ s daughter is apparently taking a gap year?

I’m shocked at you apologists. This celebrity is a thief, plain and simple. The fact that private universities will accept students on the basis of a sizeable donation is irrelevant. Admissions is for the college to give, by whatever metric they choose. (The college is freely exchanging a spot at the school for a donation, and that’s fine.) That doesn’t mean that it is anyone’s for the taking. I can’t believe I have to remind grown adults that it isn’t right to take something that isn’t theirs.

Um, what? Let’s just deal with facts. There’s enough there to work with.

No way in hell was this felon not going to eat some reality check pies in jail. I for one, hopes there's operation varsity part two after this first round .

This.

I think Lori Loughlin's in for a rough few years ahead.

If she had plead guilty it was going to be 2 measly years. Instead she dragged it out. She'll be lucky to do less time than Teresa and Joe Guidice.
