This is the important part. My friend looks like this (the white blonde hair, blue eyes, accent, etc.) and her husband obviously thinks she is a total ditz. She kind of is - I love her as a friend, but I could never live with her. These men are not thinking long term at all, OP.

Like it or not, op, she's physically attractive. I suspect she also smiles a lot and pays attention to the guys when they are talking. Men feel good about themselves when they are around her and, therefore, "like" her. I have seen women who aren't conventionally attractive have this effect on men, as well. It's not Rocket Science, just basic human nature.

What men find attractive is often much simpler than what women think we should find attractive. Fit and friendly is 90% of the battle.

Also agree re the fun and upbeat energy will draw men in, especially ones who have been married a while. There was a study that said men just being near young attractive women raises their testosterone which is a natural mood booster.
