Meh. I don't think anyone is gonna quit without first evaluating the options. If you look at the options, and you have more confidence in new club than old and you can afford it, jump ship! No decision either way is going to be perfect, you just have to do your homework. Step 1, start looking, make some contacts. Practice around a bit.
After tryouts and receiving an invitation, is it appropriate to ask a coach how much playing time my DC can expect before accepting to join a team?
