What is normal and healthy is for a youngster to be curious about sex and sexuality. Healthy avenues for them to learn about it are few and far between, unfortunately.
ONe of the family therapists I saw, someone very respected who trains therapists, told me that the #1 topic discussed EVERY year at EVERY family therapy conference is the problem or excessive porn usage and its effect on families. And this is NOT a Christian counselor.

Find a guy in his 30s or 40s who didn't have a paper copy of a dirty magazine hidden under their bed. Heck, ask your DH if he or his friends had one when he was a kid.

If you could take away smartphones and solve the problem sod kids screwing around online, 90% of the kids in the zdMV would have smartphones. But it solves nothing. It just means they are driving 45 minutes to school like my 16 year old and you don’t know he got there safely. They can’t text for a ride, etc. and then they look at porn on the laptop.
I have a problem with this also. Kids need to be writing. With their hands. We know they get smarter and think more creatively this way. My kids are elementary aged but my first priority in finding a HS for them is NO COMPUTERS FOR REGULAR CLASSES. It’s awful.

Normal - talk to him about not realistic and that there’s often only the male side of oral sex as that’s a problem with teens and young adults today they aren’t seeing it being reciprocal. But don’t shame him. And don’t think you can control it. They borrow phones etc to watch it it’s everywhere. Better to try to frame it for him and realize he’s a sexual being and that’s not a part of his life that will be in your control.
