Kate Middleton's mother was an air stewardess and her father sells party items. Its hardly a classy background. She has an uncle in prison and various cousins covered in tattoos.

The British press destroyed her when she first came on the scene.

She and they grew up on a generation of 'I can be a Princess'. Hello Princess Diaries anyone?

They're just mad she didn't stay with the first loser who proposed and actually ended up a Princess and rich to boot.
