Good luck to BCPS with hiring Darryl Williams. They are going to need it if this case is an example of his leadership:

As far as Jack Smith, I say nay because he is doing little to improve school climate issues for staff and students.
What does that case have to do with Darryl Williams?
According to page 5, Darryl Williams knew of the sexual harassment by the principal but did nothing to protect the employee. Hence a reason for the law suit in which MCPS is the defendant.
thanks
Ultimately, Jack Smith is captain of a ship that repeatedly has staff and students unprotected against predators. In my opinion, the BOE should be questioning his leadership.

Add to that the crap coming out of central office, and I would get rid of him in a heartbeat, as I bet would 99% of those at our school.
What kind of crap comes out of Central Office?
Not the PP but I agree with the post. One example of crap is Be Well 365. There is no support for staff at the school level to implement it.
Agree 100 %. We had leadership meetings last month and when we looked at our school's data it was our African American FARMS students who were performing the lowest. We have done training on race and equity ad nauseum but never once have we been trained on how to help students in poverty. School administrators and teachers genuinely want this training and the staff at central office are running around like chickens with their heads cut off unable to support.
