He’s completly denying it saying it is silly that I think he’s cheating and there’s nothing on his phone.

In the future stay out of your partner's phone unless you like being alone.

No. As tempting as it may be to confront, she will tip him off and make him be more cautious and prevent her from finding out everything. If she wants to know the whole truth, she probably won't get it by asking. Look at credit card statements, bank statements, itemized phone bills, browser history, email. Before asking.

What's done is done. I don't think anyone who recommended she ask him (including me) thought she would do so without first taking screenshots or forwarding the texts to her own phone. But she does know now that he is lying to her, and can decide where she goes from there.
He could come up with some excuse about it being a random attachment to a joke text that got saved. Cheaters tend to be good at lying and gaslighting.

men will send other men (their freinds) pics of women. sometimes men will save pics on their phone of these women. because Damn. some women are very appealing to look at.
It doesn't mean that we don't find our wives attractive or desirable. Its just a a different woman to look at.
It's like going to a restaurant. Just because we like to look at the desert menu doesn't mean we will ever order food from it.
