WOW shots fired !!!!!! Every BRYC parent just got that sick feeling in their stomach. What do you mean my kid isn't talented ? Reality check your DS isn't the next Pele .
Does BRYC have a large player pool?
No
Does BRYC produce quality teams?
Yes
So in spite of not having a huge player pool to draw from and being surrounded by McLean and Arlington the club seems to produce quality teams. They do more with less.
It's in Fairfax. I would not argue Arlington is close. Maybe BAC, Vienna, Chantilly, NVSC, SYA - all of which are closer to BRYC.
Sorry, I didn't realize that all of Arlington players lived only in Arlington and that roads don't leave Arlington.
You stated 'surrounded' by Arlington. BRYC is NOT surrounded by Arlington. Nor are they trending up. Next years merger will impact them.

Unless BRYC or some other team merges with another so they won't be the league/region punching bag.
Interesting to refer to a Top 25 ECNL club as the league/region punching bag.
If anyone is honest, BRYC is NOT a top caliber club. They have a good team in the Girls 03's, but did not make the Champions Division in the National Playoffs at U13, U14, U15 and the older teams did not perform well in the Champions division.
But there wasn't a club in the area that did well at Nationals at more than 1 age group though in ECNL or DA. It appears this regions clubs are equally mediocre with some clubs having slightly stronger teams than others.

PDA won the most national titles (just an example)
BRYC is not top 25. Not even top 50
