I guess they feel they can’t get their kids into private school otherwise. I found it easy to gain admission to my nursery school - 12th grade private, but that’s not the way NYC necessarily works.


It’s Definitely not how it works in NYC. It’s why middle class people leave for the suburbs. Private school in nyc is for the .1%


I’m a woman that is black, and born and raised in NYC. This is very true.
