Seem to remember PDA dominating way before the DA/ECNL split. But whateve's.

Kudos to VDA 06 for taking out tophat and being National Finalist.

4 games in 4 days against the best is a grind. Especially for 7th graders.

McLean U18/19 plays SoCal Blues for the ECNL national championship. This should be an exciting game and shows that DMV teams can compete nationally.

McLean u18/19 added no new impact players, but has a few players who were on the championship team last year and who are on the team this year because they were still in high school. It is a loaded team (as seen by the commitment list posted multiple times).

VDA 06 is playing in a national semi final tomorrow. Interesting how that was missed. Also you can’t lump all these teams together when some are playing champions league and others are not. Playing the top 32 teams in the country is very different than playing showcase teams.

How did McLean U17 and below performance this year compare to previous years (eg last year?)

Did McLean U18/19 add any new non McLean players this year?

Good point. At older ages their ECNL teams were their second teams to their DA teams which are very good. ECNL forced them to choose and they chose DA only for next year.

No, Tophat’s first team was always DA and the second team was ECNL. Tophat is all DA next year with their second team playing in DPL.

At 06 for 18-19, it’s the first team. They didn’t have that league this year.
