How about the three jurisdictions amend the Metro Compact to give exclusive effect to Virginia law and Virginia courts for crimes committed throughout the Metro system. That would be a setback for the criminals and a win for us passengers!


Virginia law provides the ultimate legal authority to strap the criminals to a chair and "tase" them longer and at higher voltage. Metro crooks beware.

No, MPD is far better than it was in the Barry era, when hiring was not diverse, but rather deliberately monochrome, and some recruits had failed the police exam multiple times!
