You complain, but it looks like they just wanted children of all nationalities to feel like they are welcomed there. He is not the only asian child on the website. And if the site only showed another "white kid" you'd probaly be put off too.

The owners are caucasions and west indians.

I think the owners are Asian.

We went today for a couple hours with our 3 and 6 year olds and they both loved it. We didn't even get to the entire place. My 3 yo boy spent almost the entire sitting in the firetruck with a short break to play the drums and see the animals.

My 6 yo DD went to most of the rooms, but not all. She especially liked the dress up clothes and the trains. They were decorating cookies and making slime while we were there, which might have been good for slightly older kids but I wouldn't think kids over, say, 10 would like it too much. They also had quite a few toddler-appropriate areas but I was a little worried the older kids would run a couple down.

They had a great time, and I would not have noticed too much Christianity if I hadn't read about it here. There were some religious books and a few Christmas decorations, but nothing heavy.

We have been to that Interactions place in Kensington is it the same deal?

Is this place appropriate for a 15 month old?

I went there too and noticed the God undertone. I really liked it. I did not feel preached to in any way. I thought it was uplifting and considering all the other stuff that's out there....I find it refreshing.

I went to the playseum with my daughter and had a ball. She loved all the different activities. As for the admission fee....I didnt mind paying because it was only $5. Gymboree etc... are much more expensive, you have to go at certain times and that can be hard for me. I like that I can go when I want and stay as long as I want for a nominal fee.

I happen to know one of the moms in the bio who is in fact a SAHM!! She does this all as volunteer work. Just fyi....

We went with 2 parents and 2 kids and it still felt hectic. I think both kids would enjoy it, you will just have to keep them coralled in the same room. Mine were all over the place and the 4 of us were rarely together.

My kids are older. I can see that it would be harder for one parent with two young kids like yours. The space is not open. It's rather like a narrow corridor with rooms without doors.

I took my daughter (just turned three) yesterday, and she LOVED it. We were there two hours and easily could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

I took to Playseum my 7 and 5 year old girls the day before Thanksgiving. They both loved it. It's like a huge basement play room. We are not Christians and I also was making sure no one converted us There was nothing like that! We spent there almost 3 hours, they enjoyed playing every single room. The hit was grocery store, making an apple pie (for additional $2.5) art room and dress up room. Of course we are going back and bringing our friends with us.
