PP is not wrong. Richmond is funky, arty, fun city. If that's the vibe a kid is going for, it's a good choice. If they are interested in art or medicine, even better.

What? It's in a city, it's a big school (24,000 undergrad) and has a sports medicine program.

Sports analytics jobs are crazy competitive and the few people who make it in are often Ivy League Maury and Econ majors who love sports and have connections.

University of South Carolina has a good sports management program.

NC State is good for those stats and is a big school in a somewhat urban but very nice area of Raleigh, NC.

Univ of Georgia. Not urban but Athens is wonderful and not too far from Atlanta. They also have great sports management programs.
