Underpowered engine? You haven't seen underpowered until you've seen my early 90s jeep. 0-60.....someday maybe. But the engine is hammer simple and easy to fix. Oh, and the car was free.

This thread seems to have brought out quite a few triggered moochers. I'll be damned if any sibling or in-law jams my parents for a freaking $1,000 plus luxury Range Rover payment. That's elderly abuse and/or stealing from my inheritance.


The person concerned about her parents spending money because it is "stealing my inheritance" is calling someone else a mooch? Now I've seen everything.

G wagons are $200k. I've had four range rovers. First one I paid cash, but the sport or range rover will definitely be over $1000 a month if they have a decent engine.

Let's just say it's the absolute most stripped down Range Rover with no options and the underpowered engine. The MSRP on those are $90k, and I doubt these people care that much about negotiating since it's someone else's money. So, let's say they negotiated to $85k. Even a 0% loan for 60 months would still be $1400 a month and that's before the thousands extra for tax tags and title.
