We know a very good soccer goalie, she trained a ton and played for top teams. She was not a top student though and ended up at a no name school -
Concordia in Nebraska . Another player ended up at Fort Lewis college in Durango, Colorado . Ever heard of it??
If your kid really likes the sport these are the kinds of schools where they could end up playing. Not everyone goes to Yale on an athletic scholarship.
A friends DD signed at Wilkes college in Pa. Ever heard of that? Wilkesbarre Pennsylvania?
A top player we know of signed at Gardner Webb which plays division I but it’s a small Baptist college.
