I'm French, and over there as well as other places on earth, brown leather shoes are the epitome of traditional style. Please get out of your little corner.
I did two years in London and recall all the businessmen wore black dress shoes.
The Brits say “never wear brown in town” (it’s for weekends in the country)
Brits? let us hope they do keep the Brexit, they are eye sores working on the Continent.

Omg the brown/orange dress shoes with the obnoxious socks is so awful.
DP. Nope it's natty. I love it. I like a man who takes care with his appearance. My SO has a navy bespoke suit and some brown oxfords and I got him quirky socks. He looks sooooo hot in that.
Samesies! Black dress shoes look so formal and outdated. After seeing like every man under 40 near K St. rocking this look--slim pants, snazzy colorful socks often with pink as a color, and brown shoes--I got my husband some snazzy socks a year ago, and he got some more on his own. I like this look.
Ummmm, those aren't real men, especially if they're wearing goofy colored socks made for little girls.
