My sister and her DH use this app and it creates way more problems than it solves. She goes crazy tracking him then when she gets mad she blocks him or deletes the app or something like that to punish him. Finally he got tired of her craziness and permanently took it off his phone to end the games. She started accusing him of cheating. I don’t know how they resolved that issue and I’ve asked them both to stop oversharing with me.

I'm not in that situation nor do I ever predict it, BUT there are many women I've know who should have done it when the signs were there. Be it finances, gambling or other things they didn't follow up on.

And there are MANY prople I know who also are or were in controlling relationships where "trust" is the excuse for control and abuse. Given the tenor on these boards it would not be one bit suprising of this site is full of abusive spouses, with them gravitating towards a thread like this.

It's pointless. If someone wants to know your whereabouts there are many ways to find out.

When a spouse starts snooping, often there are valid reasons.

Trusting the person you married is not sticking g your head in the sand. I'm not my husbands mommy and my husband is not my daddy. If I felt that I needed to "check up" on my husband like he's a 14yr old boy, I'd rather just pack my bags. That kind of dynamic is not attractive to me, but whatever you need to get your rocks off or sleep at night. Maybe you married poorly or maybe you have poor self esteem. Whatever it is, I'm glad I'm not living your sad life.

If you have overwhelming worries/fears about your spouses' safety and need constant reassurance of where they are at all times you need therapeutic help not an app.
