I agree. Men look but definitely don't "touch" when my husband is around. He enjoys the stares, but would not tolerate someone approaching me, because it is a reflection of the level of respect the man has for him. Op, I hate to say this, but you must reek of weakness.

Your wife sounds a bit unhinged. A grown woman who gets that angry over a cracked screen-- that she caused sounds immature to say the least.

Also, the fact that she went out of her way to share what the employee did makes me think even less of her.

He disrespected you, but she allowed it and rubbed it in your face. As such, my main issues are with her.

This is truly the most confusing part of the whole story. OP why are you so threatened by the random store employee?? Does your wife have a cheating history that keeps you on edge?

Humiliation would be the thing to feel because of something your wife did, how the cell phone guy behaved is irrelevant.

OP, you sound easily offended. Is your marriage in a good place, phone incident aside? Do you find that you get upset with your wife for interactions with strangers often? Do you always punish her emotionally for other people’s behavior?
