Each of my NT kids did it once around that age of 3, but that was it. They didn't do it out of anger or anything like that, just did it because for some reason it seemed like a good idea at the time.

My kid never did this. I kept the writing tools in a pencil box that I kept on top of the refrigerator. I only brought it out when I could watch my kids at the table.

My kids never did it intentionally, but I also remember doing it myself as a child and getting into so.much.trouble.

Mine never did but I drew on the siding outside of our house with an indelible marker! I think I was about 2.5-3yrs old.

They were allowed to write on their door since it costs about $50 to replace or can be painted over.

Older kid- never- he’s always been a rule follower.

Younger kid- a few times and she’s only 2.

Neither SN.

My son never did it, but my daughter (now 3) has done it about twice.

My kid went ham on one well with a pen when he was barely 2. Nothing since.

Our 2yo has tried it a few times with pen and crayon but I think we finally got through. Now working on teaching him not to scrape his painted toys on the walls (which also leave a satisfying-to-him mark on our cheapo apartment paint).

My older one never did it. My 2yr old went through a phase where he would draw on anything he could. It lasted a few months and now he looks at the wall that got the most abuse and shakes his head and tells us “no write walls. No write floor!”

I have two boys. One (ADHD/CP) never wrote on the walls and one (NT) carved his name in green pencil into the drywall in his room. He got to scrub his walls by hand. He no longer draws on the walls.

My kids didn't write on the walls.... But DD at 3 wrote on her door, LOL! Once or twice. She also put 20 some stickers on our kitchen chairs.

My youngest did it quite a few times as a toddler. She has an older sister whose favorite activity is art, so there are constantly crayons and markers out. She’s now four and recently colored on our dining table and a few other no-no places, but not the walls. We’ve been repeating “we only color on paper” for years.

One kid drew all over ALL the upstairs walls when she was supposed to be taking a nap and the babysitter was downstairs with her sibling. I made her clean it with Mr. Eraser pad and it took her about a week so she never did it again. Another one drew all over himself with a marker he somehow squirreled away (again during nap) which was fine except that it all rubbed off on his carpet when he lay down to take a nap on the floor.
