In that case, guess there are two certain someones.....the one in support of the girl and the one fixated on trashing her.

Umm that's an odd conclusion. But, there's a certain someone on this forum that has been rather obsessed with this kid from the beginning, so no surprise the obsession continues.

Anyone who thinks a 2007 who isn't abnormally mature for her age is a good fit with girls 3-4 years older and beyond puberty is foolish, inquisitor.

Who were the three adults?

Also, it's none of anyone's else's business whether or not they do it. I imagine they feel that she can learn some lessons playing with the older kids and I'm sure she will benefit in some ways. It doesn't mean that she wouldn't be better off playing with kids closer to her age, for safety reasons. It also might help her club in terms of results. I wouldn't want my pre-pubescent kid playing with much older kids, that's what I consider foolish. But to each his own.

WSVA DA TD, WSVA DA coach, and player’s parents. Did Larry Best have input? That would make 5 adults if he did. According to the shared email and those rumors of change, it would be a surprise why they would continue to want this type of publicity.

I am not going to respond or lower myself to name calling. All the other noise is speculation.

She is a top-notch player but I have seen her personally play with 04 and 05 multiple times and I believe she has even played 02. She does not make an impact at 04 because she barely gets a touch. There is no reasonable argument to say that is good for her development. Add in the social challenges for an 07 playing with young women who are socially and physically more mature and you are not putting the player in a good situation. No touches means no development.

As a huge fan of this kid I 100% agree. This is a player with usnt potential. Putting her in situations where she gets used to disappearing is not a good thing. Someone needs to put the mom in her place and step up to do what is right for this kid.

What else would it mean? This showcase was played weeks after the leadership change and email.

You can't possibly mean all those adults believe the 07 playing with 04s or older is good coaching or good for her development. That's ridiculous. I imagine we will see a lot of changes now that Spirit will be expected to have some standards.

I'm sure it came down to the one parent and the TD. That's two. There are benefits and disadvantages to playing a player that far up, both for the player and the team(s). That said, it does show the club is willing to do things to develop players that others wouldn't. So, if the girl can hang with the women on the 2004 team, more power to her.
