Np. Dont be ridiculous. There are so mlm many uniques names today that kids will not make fun of Rhys. I like Rhys and wouldnt spell it Reece because that reminds me of Reece witherspoon. If you were having a daughter i wo yould apell it that way

it's not Reece Witherspoon. It's ReeSe Witherspoon

Ok so I misspelled her name. It is still pronounced the same. Reece or Reese it makes zero difference.

I like the name, but wasn't sure about pronunciation.

it'd be helpful if you include a couple names you do like to get a sense of what types of names you go for. I'm 38 weeks and getting desperate to pick something.

Very pretentious and confusing, unless you dad/ grandad was a Rhys.

Don’t like it at all. And the spelling is terrible.

I used it for a boy's middle. Only a few people have asked how to pronounce it (of course, it is a middle). I prefer Rhys for boys and Reese for girls.

I have a boy Rhys and love it. It's becoming more widespread so it's not like no one ever can pronounce it. I think Rhys is the better spelling for a boy. My husband has fairly recent Welsh family so we are semi-legit but who cares, I prob would have wanted it use it anyway.

Have a son named Julian. If second had been a boy, we were going with Everett.

Julian and Everett are TERRIBLE names!

Oh, ffs, that’s pointlessly rude to PP. It’s ok to disagree about names, but there’s no good reason to be hateful about a name that a poster has already given a child!

Love the name Rhys.
I teach preK. Last year I had a boy Rhys and a girl Reese. This year I have another boy Rhys.

Lots of R names coming through: Rhys, Reed, Ryder, Ryker
