You don't believe there are gay hookers or that middle class people sometimes fall prey to this lifestyle? Or that one of them would be deluded enough to brag about his deception to his family regarding his "enlightened" lifestyle?
My nephew's mom was never a sex worker (that I know of) but spent years getting $ out of our parents for school, first lying about obtaining a degree, then getting more for "going back." It never resulted in any kind of degree, so her son is following in her footsteps as regards the whole education thing. That's part of the reason I'm not eager to wade into familial conflict. She's said he throws fits and cites an anxiety disorder anytime she asks him when he will be getting a b.a.

He is 25 and an adult. Talk to him directly. Tell him you know (don't rat your son out) and are concerned and want his assurance that he is protecting himself against STD's.

Your nephew involved your son in his lies. I would be mad about that.
Son is an adult. He's old enough and mature enough that I'm not especially concerned about this. He was shocked and disgusted. I think its damaged any future relationship they might have had but that's about it.

Nope. We found his ad. I am forwarding it to his mom via an anonymous email address. She will have to deal with the lies about school/work herself.
