I call my mom every day. She’s really funny, has good advice, and is the sort of person who I would be friends with anyway.

I am a weekly caller 5x week texter PP. our relationship ship isn’t perfect and she can be nosy and critical. But I know she does it because she cares and I laugh it off and let it roll off my back. I love her very much.

I also wanted to add, my brothers talk to my mom daily too. She knows what's happening with each of her children and she will update all of us about each other too. She is still the glue that holds us all together, even though we are in our 50s now.

I FaceTime with my mom almost every day. I call or skype with my dad maybe once a week.

Usually several times per week. I call when I’m walking from Metro to the school to do pick up. It’s about a 20 minute walk. I try to call M/Th/F as she is usually volunteering during my commute time the other days. I’ll often call either Saturday or Sunday for a few minutes too when I’m out running errands.

I use to call every other day but my Mom didn't like to talk on the phone. She would only talk for 5-10 minutes. I never knew of her talking much on the phone, though I liked to. In her declining years her college roommate got in touch and it became a pattern that she called daily. They had long talks. I think it was the nature of their particular relationship.

Once a week or so. I'm kind of sad to see this is so atypical, but my mom has some issues and I can't talk to her more than this or I would struggle. I feel like I'm doing a fine job.

Different people are different OP. If you aren't an every day talker than you're not an every day talker.

Once every week or two, during family therapy sessions. Before my son got sick and our relationship got ruined, I often spoke with her during my commute; I knew every part of my commute that had poor cell service where calls would drop.

I talk to my mom atleast once a day. Usually more. There are times when she is vacationing or we are and we don’t usually talk then. The older I get the more I appreciate what she did when she was a mom, and I realize it’s not so typical. I’m very grateful for the support and advise she gives me. We sometimes argue but we can disagree and then put our relationship above it.

When she was alive, I talked to my mom several times a week, usually during my evening commute. And then we sent texts.
