If you just want the best hybrid/electric car... get a Prius it is tried and true.
I test drove everything before buying a Tesla MS P100D. Nothing comes close. The only reason to buy a Prius over a model 3 is cost. The model 3 is aimed at people who are considering Mercedes A/C class and BMW 4/5 series
I didn't say it wasn't but not everybody is an early adopter nor do most electric car drivers care about Mercedes or BMW. People drive electric because they care about the planet not their image.

I really want a Tesla, but my husband says not to get one because he is not sure if the company will be around in the next 10 years and we will need to get it serviced at the dealer. Anyone else think this? Or have other financial arguments on why to buy or not buy a Tesla? We are looking at the model 3 either new or slightly used. New cost is about $50k with about $6k in tax refunds (federal and state) and we have an $8k trade in. Plus about $100 per month in gas savings. It would be the most we have ever paid for a car. We usually pay about $30k or less.

Tesla gives out factory tours to Tesla owners as an incentive for referrals. You can talk to the workers yourself.
Yes I am sure that corporate stage-managed factory visits are the best way to get a balanced view of working conditions.
