I listened to the Keith Urban interview and don’t think I heard a sentence from Monica. What is she supposed to be?

But the fact that Dax spilled his relapse to her before Kristen tells me Monica needs to move on (unless she’s his official sponsor, which she is not).

I have also decided to not like Monica after learning about her for the first time

Your constant obsession with Monica is seriously weird.

Hi Monica. You're such a star!

So much in common... except for the fact Keith is a Hall of Fame level country singing legend and Dax is a D list twerp.

They had the things in common PP listed. Did they discuss having fame in common? Or are you just mad that PP surfaced Urban’s addiction for you?

Dax’s PR or a very sensitive pp came here early today. Urban’s pre- and early days Kidman addiction is well documented and they both are asked about it at lots of interviews. Dax and Urban had both been clean for about the same length of time until Dax got re-hooked on opioids, about the same timeframe as this interview. At the time, I thought the interview was well done.

A big difference to me is that Keith Urban doesn’t walk around talking about his sobriety all day long and in ever conversation. Dax does, and it turns out he has been lying about it. It undercuts his credibility.

I’m so disappointed about this interview. At the time I though Dax and Urban did a good and interesting job of weaving together these shared experiences. Dax talked a lot about himself but in a relevant and not cringey way (how Oprah managed to twist and contort every subject to her soap box). But to find out now that Dax admits he’d been using at the time annoys me. Definitely undercuts Shepard’s credibility.
I want that hour of my life back. And I feel sorry for Kristen and his daughters. Addiction sucks.

His Indian cohost seems passive aggressive and manipulative. All these podcast cohosts think they’re the star. It’s why Adam Carolla fired his and she’s now a nobody.

Seriously +1, PP sounds nuts. They have to be projecting something really weird and unhealthy in their life onto this woman they don't know.

Anonymous wrote:The Hollywood life and the narcissism is brutal on relationships and his motorcycle passion and injuries feeds his addictions. But that aside, his Armchair expert interviews reveal that he is highly intelligent and very well read. His interviews with people like Malcolm Gladwell, Bill Gates and Tom Brady highlight his breath and depth of interview skills and knowledge. His side kick Monica is a lightweight and adds little and what she does add it’s pretty vacuous. I have no idea if he is a decent actor as I’ve never seen him in anything but his podcasts are well worth listening to. He is very open about his personal demons and that opens up interesting discussions with his guests.

Yes! I like his podcast a lot and think he's a pretty interesting, intelligent guy. I don't know why all the comparing got started earlier, but I'd listen to him any day over some country singer.
