Nothing new when you're voting on affordable housing. That's what the southern vote for Matt is - the VOICE and other AH advocates insisting we have to build as much as possible wherever possible as soon as possible - unless it's in north arlington where it costs more.

I think most NA democrats who follow local politics already realize this is the case. I think that is true about the SA democrats too. The problem is all the people who don't follow local politics and just vote whatever that stupid sample ballot says. That's the problem.



This is exactly the problem. All of the 20-something childless renters who don’t know any better. I was one of them. I know all too well how it goes.

He has already said he won’t run for office again. And so begins another 30 years of all Democrats on the County Board. I’m sure they are already hatching a plan to cram more AF along the Pike. Maybe they already have a high rise planned at the Madison Community Center. Schools will never get the money or land for a fourth high school.

If they don’t build a fourth high school, my only hope is people with more money than me all send their kids to provate school or move.

Must be Buckingham (38.5% for Vihstadt), that was the only precinct I could see that goes to a high FARMS school voted nearly 40% for Vihstadt.

JV isn't going to run again. He said this would be his last campaign even if he won. We have no voice for a 4th high school now on either the SB or the CB. Its all over.

DP, But that means it still went over 60% for MdF, and all that matters in the end is who gets the most votes. ACDC is going to take this outcome as a mandate, so thank your neighbors for voting to screw you over.
