Yeah, the “NA screws over SA politically” trope is officially dead now.
SA actually screws themselves over

These "dems" are going to have about 2 days of joy before they have to explain to voters that they gave Amazon the farm to get them to locate here. No taxes paid ever, free pool, at taxpayer expense. Once NA realizes they're on the hook for everything from now on, including AH, the tide will turn. This is just a hiccup.
I think most NA democrats who follow local politics already realize this is the case. I think that is true about the SA democrats too. The problem is all the people who don't follow local politics and just vote whatever that stupid sample ballot says. That's the problem.

Almost All of Westover voted for V.
But the places already with affordable housing voted for someone who will give them more.
So, I now don’t give a hoot about the SA FARMS rate because people just voted for higher FARMS rate. And I will fight any effort to bus anyone further than the one or two closest schools.
I am genuinely worried about the future of our schools. There won’t be enough invested.
This isn't entirely true. My child is at a very high farms school and our precinct went nearly 40% for V--that is very, very unusual in our neighborhood.
Which one?
