I don’t think objective means what you think it means.

Who even thinks about this? Who cares!

My Pacifica is the first American car I have ever owned. I love it. We have bucket seats in the second row, so being able to stow one of the seats and have a staging area for changing diapers, changing clothes after the splash pad, its just awesome.

The Odyssey is an objectively uglier automobile than the Pacifica. Cost =/ class.

I would be more embarrassed if I was a judgmental jerk who judged others based on what car or car brand they drove.

No one is saying they are “better.” We are saying if you are price insensitive, get the Honda.

The stowable seats are really uncomfortable to actually sit in, because they have to be thin enough to fold into the floor. My back row folds into the well, that’s enough room for anything I need.

Sigh....life has become such a contest to some. None of it matters one bit at the end of your days.

The Odyssey looks like a hearse. The Pacifica is more attractive. It’s a plus that Pacifica is available as a hybrid and I’ll probably buy one when my 2006 T&C dies.

Huh? I LOVE my Odyssey and am thrilled to own it. I have always wanted a minivan (for hauling things, buying furniture, road trips) and luckily now that I have 2 kids, I got one. I don't understand SUV people who gave up function just so they could look cooler. What is up with that? And SUV people- stop having your kids bash my car with your car doors since yours don't slide.

The Odyssey is objectively nicer. It’s also more expensive. But yes, if you live in an affluent area, people who want/need a minivan for whatever reason are going to get the nicest one. It’s like, “if I have to drive a lame minivan, it’s damn sure going to be the nicest possible one!”

NP. I don't look down on other people who don't dive Odysseys, but yes the Odyssey was way nicer (just got a 2019 one). Mine is just as nice as our luxury car and I love all the features.

Here I learned there is a hybrid minivan. I am very interested, thanks!
