BUT, if you live in DC you can get free books sent every month from birth to 5 years old. Through Dolly Parton’s foundation. It’s an amazing amount of books. So do that, OP, if it’s an option. It’s through DCPL.

Reassess what’s really bothering you and don’t set yourself up or your husband up for this sort of thing as it’ll be a long parenting road otherwise.
Same goes for him. Not every battle is with fighting for.
