OP here I noticed as well, very odd. Not me, but perhaps a champion of the breed requested this. It was relevant info, but. Or the main point actually.

Anyway, my original question wasn’t breed related. It was about how to support and manage the kids’ long term friendship since I won’t let my kid go to the home of dangerous dog.

People are so cavalier about their dogs killing cats, as someone who watched her cat be killed by a dog I'm appalled. And please stop with the 'there's really no concern here if the dog is only aggressive to other critters.' I know several people bitten by dogs whose owners were shocked because Rover had never hurt anyone before.

Thanks for your knowledgable comment. Appreciate hearing from someone who knows about dogs! So many emotions! Why do dogs get us all (me included!) misty and emotional? They are so lovable yet sometimes problematic.
