She should have filed police charges. How is her former employer going to enforce no contact once that person is no longer a client? And that person should have no longer been a client once he assaulted your daughter.

She should probably just block him. If he starts texting her from random numbers or doing other things then I would go to the police.

Given what has transpired to date, it sounds like the best option is to consult an attorney and find out how likely it is that you will be able to get an enforceable restraining order. The settlement with the former employer is irrelevant and is not going to keep your daughter safe. Plus, it is an agreement between her and her former company, not her and this guy.
