So the Franco Harris Steelers stuff in 72 or 73 is when Jack and Rebecca met? I’m thinking no. The triplets were born in 80 and J and R were really young then. I think the FH stuff was just a parallel narrative to their story and set the stage for the family’s Steelers mania.

well IVF in a healthy 39 year old woman I think has only about a 30--40% success rate of a live birth (this is an important distinction from just getting pregnant) per any given cycle. at least thats what I read when I went through at that age. (and luckily was in the 40% success rate). PCOS is a major issue for fertility, as is the weight in general.

I think Kate should have taken the doctor's initial assessment as a sign. She should have decided to have gastric bypass surgery and she and Toby could have adopted, thereby having their baby, saving thousands of dollars, and probably saving Kate's life in the process.
