Nobody does that anymore because it's not 1970. But if you feel like that gives you your money's worth in private-school tuition, that's good.

NP, I'd say 50% of our MCPS ES - three classes per grade.
How would you know this? And how do you define tutoring? They are bringing a trained teacher to your home on a regular basis to instruction your child? Or do you mean parents are working with kids on their hw to provide more feedback than a teacher will?

I guess you live in one of the rich parts of Montgomery County?
There are small ES upcounty.but they get to 4-5 classes by fourth grade.
