That's how we get to living in a society like Saudi, where women can't go out, travel alone, dress a certain way, because men can't control themselves or their actions. Give the men a curfew. Start redirecting, and telling men to be responsible - explicitly assert: don't attack, don't rape, don't shoot, don't kill, don't assault, etc. When you keep putting it on the shoulders of women, the entitlement of men and boys grow - they have no reason to change their end.

Oh for pete’s sake, really? Run in well lit and populated areas. Don’t run with headphones. Stay aware of your surroundings. If you run in the street, wear brightly colored clothes or lights so that drivers can see you.

No one ever asks to be raped, killed, hit by a car, etc. But it isn’t victim blaming to encourage people to make choices that might decrease the likelihood of something bad happening.

I don't see what's odd about it. It is tragic that any human being (black, male or otherwise) could feel that stabbing a person is something that you ever do. It is a damning condemnation of these men's disgraceful, murderous actions.

+1. There are so many crazies walking around. That's why police need to be allowed to rid the streets of homeless people and I don't mind stop & frisk.
