Heckert really needs to roll up her sleeves and fix the long standing patterns of employee misconduct by her current staff. Children have been hurt on athletic teams at Churchill and very little has been done to address the problems of bullying and sexual harassment by coaches on multiple teams.

Besides the inconvenience to parents of having to wait on the street to get into the parking lot (they said they won't allow pick-up until the buses leave the lot about 2:40) a lot of the kids need to get out of the parking lot in their cars to get to after school activities (tutors, jobs etc.). It's mind blowing what a poor decision this is.
Is the school supposed to work in the interest of most of the students of just those who have tutors and lacrosse? They are trying to find the best way to get everyone in and out at the EXACT same time. It is never gonna be quick or easy.
If the interest is for most of the students, these are Special Ed busses. There are more students utilizing the student parking lot and car loop then ride these busses. This clearly was a short sided decision by a principal who is out of touch with the community.

Everything can’t be done by committee. If you have an alternate suggestion, just weigh in.

That parking lot is dangerous enough with the carpool line mixed up with the student drivers. There is a parking lot right next to the student lot that is used by the faculty and would be a much better place than the already crowded and congested student lot (the only parking lot they are allowed to use). Unless of course the teachers can't wait until 2:40 to leave. Sorry, but this will probably be a huge bottleneck and make that parking lot even more dangerous than it is.
