I've been 140 and loved the way clothes looked on me but everyone I knew wouldn't stop offering me food. At 160, and a size 8, you would still call me thin. Anything above that -- still not yet chubby but definitely fluffy.

very similar body type here... fluffy sounds cute and cuddly. i am a female at 5'9.5", before my kids in late 20s-early 30s I was around 140. looked a bit gangly, but was just a slim active person. after kids and 20 years, i have a few years of cookies and naps on my frame. these measurements change over the decades. your age/child bearing status also matters.

Doubt you're fat. You're tall, and in (self-reported) great shape.

Pull a plough, eh? You must be all legs and glutes!!

Maybe.... but I really don't know! I love the outdoorsy sports, such as skiing, swimming, hiking, ocean swims, etc. I more swimmer shoulders and have some dwindly legs.

I wish we would not worry about these measurements, but self awareness of overall health however is VERY GOOD.

Although of course we want to look good too. I do (deeply) desire my night time almond butter and chocolate chip spoons, much more than being thin.

I’m also athletic (not muscular) and 5.8” and 140-145. I wear a 10 and am a little chubby.

Are you a gal or guy?

I am a lady (size 10 poster here).

I'm sure the DH would enjoy you in all your fluffiness.

Those are good stats for you both. He could prob stand to gain a few more lbs, simply bc he's a guy, but 160 is a healthy wait for him.

My wife is 5'6 @140, and I'm 6'3 @220. I think we're both at good numbers given our bone structure. Then again, I'm biased.

If the person is big boned (look at knees and ankles) then being 160 lbs will put her in the slim category. If the bones are very small, then she might be chubby.

People, it's difficult to opine when you don't post a gender. Ugh.

No, 5'9" and 160 is my ideal weight. When I was 120 I looked like a skeleton and had low blood sugar issues. Different frames look different at different weights.
