Monday’s are the problem day. There is too much player congestion when all 4 teams overlap at Lake Fairfax. Read back through this thread and you will see upset parents posting about it.
As for politics, it started some last year and worsened this year. It’s only mild right now, but it is clear some train up and play up decisions - not all to be fair, but some - are from parental pressure. It’s so glaring that several parents noticed it this year again and have commented at practice. Again, not all but people are smart enough to know whcich is which. I won’t get more specific than that because it’s not the girls’ fault. Shame on those parents that do it, and Spirit parents know which families demand concessions and which are being asked or have other circumstances.
Monday's haven't been an issue for our age group. The field space is fine. The only time there is crowding is during shift change between age groups at the end of practice. I don't see that as a problem.
On the one or two play-ups I can think of that you might possibly be referring to based on your comment, I don't see that as a sign of politics. The player is very good and can keep up mentally with the age group. My concern would be size and risk of physical harm, but I'm not the player or the parent, so it's not my decision to worry about. I haven't seen any instances of players playing up with groups where they obviously don't belong (other than the size issue), and to me the opportunity to play a player up age groups when warranted to challenge them is a good thing. And something I've seen at other academy style clubs in the area.

Until you learn to just mind your own business you will always see this wherever you go.

Childish and just factually out in left field
I dont think they are that nutty. They have an agenda. You just need to check the top threads and repeat post themes to understand that it may be.
You're right. It's an agenda to discredit, attack and scare off people. It's just incessant PR.
+1 This guy gets it.
-1 This guys doesn't get it.
-2 You dont get it.
WS parents are telling you what they know and you are calling it PR.
Hummmmm
I actually talk to WS parents EVERY day after practice and you aren't even a member. Please get back to self medicating. Thank you.
So tell us...are they happy with the situation?
It’s a mixed bag. Parent politics has started to infect WS VA and with the U13s, it is clear they need to increase the practice space, but it’s not like I look around and see better options. Other clubs have their problems too.
So yeah. WS isn’t perfect. But for now, even with the politics and some decidedly poor decisions being made, overall, it is better than the others DA and ECNL options I see.

I think the situation is exactly as explained by WS. The DA roster will not be finalized until late August, meaning all the kids must compete over the summer for a roster spot. It wasn’t intended to make you happy.
...and you want to pay $5000 a year for the privilege of putting your daughter through that? Why not hold a tryout and live by your decisions?

No, actually, WS parents are reacting to how they feel based on things that they don’t know.
Uh huh.
Strike 2
One more strike and its nap time for you.
You know what, nevermind. I said my piece. If they dont correct the ship people will abandon it. That's not PR. That's fact. However, you know better. Bye bye
