Make sure you check his PayPal, Venmo, zelle, etc if he has any of those accounts.

It’s hard to track cash withdrawals as these can be done while purchasing something g else, such as groceries.

OP here, if it was an obvious I'm tired or too drunk to drive home, a call would have been nice. We live in DC and yes the drive from Baltimore if pretty far, but his mom lives in Largo and he could have stayed the night there. It was only a one night charge which tells me it was some type of hookup.

Yes he still has his cc from when we were dating. He pays it with his "personal" money which doesn't effect the household bills etc. Sort of like my bloomies card.


Then driving from Baltimore to Clinton for a rest stop doesn't make sense. I was wondering if he was a brotha. There are a couple of hangout spots in that area. Bet it was Colony South. He screwed somebody. Plain and simple.

I would ask him about where he hung that night. Let him hang himself.

Most people will lie about having an affair. So if you don’t have any proof you will think you are the crazy one and maybe he/she really did have a flat tire on the way and AAA wasn’t available so they stopped at a hotel and forgot to mention it or whatever b.s. the person spins. I would find it hard to leave someone that I am married to and have kids with ibased on one thing that is likely what I think but could be explained ...and that’s probably why there is a bigger incentive to keep lying rather than come clean.

Unless you don’t care that your spouse is cheating and in fact would rather not know for sure, the better course of action is to get your ducks in a row and as a pp said decide what’s best for you based on how things are not how you wish they would be.


Look. He isn't running a book club out of a hotel in Clinton in the middle of the night. Let's say there was some wild, out of the ordinary but completely innocent circumstance that called for him to get a hotel room at the same hotel in May and recently. That is something he would bring up as soon as he got home. No one who is innocent of bad behavior gets a hotel on a personal credit card (twice), comes home at 3 AM, and says nothing about it. He is cheating or otherwise doing something he doesn't want the wife to know about. What more do you have to know? Can you get more alimony if you find out he is cheating? I just don't see how it increases your knowledge in a significant way. You already know he is cheating. So what is OP going to do?
