Pro tip for the full bush ladies: if it looks like you’re trying to smuggle a softball in your swimsuit, it’s time to trim.

Nope. Full bush, trimmed for bathing suits. Dh is fine with it, but looking like a grown woman was ok when we were younger too.

This. A few times a year I'll do a better cleanup, but DH doesn't care, and I'd rather not spend the time doing it.

Depilation isn’t common in our culture. He’s aware that it is common or even obligatory in other cultures.

I’m 40 and married. I have kept it completely bare betwwwen the legs and full in the front since college. I recently switched to full Brazilian and I love it. Husband has not expressed a preference for one style over the other. I do it for me.

How does one have a “cultural preference” for a full Bush?

May be an outlier. I lasered over 20 years ago when it was a new thing. Underarms, bikini line undercarriage. Skin is still beautiful post laser and remaining hair is perfect. So I occasionally trim short enough, but I hate the texture!! Spiky. Prefer more soft fluff. I use this incredible oil (lady business, try it). Haven’t shaved or waxed those areas since! I’m sooooo regretful that I didn’t do full laser/bare 20 years ago. For those that did it, how many treatments did it take? What’s the in between growth like? Anyone use personal/home laser? I did do at least 8 treatments back then when laser was as small as a pencil eraser. I really need to do this. Need to do legs too!

Not waxed but completely laser off. Married, 52.

It totally works and I have been doing it for years, and silently wondering why other women don't. Vaginal hair, at least mine, is more coarse, so you have to leave it on longer than you would underarm hair. It wipes right off and it's super smooth to the touch. You will probably need to do it weekly as the stubble is quite unpleasant when it grows back.

Guess I am the only one who uses Nair to go bare? You have to be careful, but it has the same outcome as a fresh wax, without the pain or expense.

Really, really varies. I could wear a bathing suit all year without doing anything and max growth is about 3/4 of an inch. A full bush isn't even really possible. Poster above said cornrows so that's gives an idea of the scale...

I could cornrow it. I only let it get that long once. It has also thinned out since I hit perimenopause though.

This is my second marriage. My first husband really disliked completely hairless. He said it made him feel like a pedophile.

OUR compromise?! It’s YOUR bush

Yes, but it is his tongue. Marriage is all about compromise.

+1, Age 41. I didn't do that when I was unmarried either. Life is too short to do something that painful on purpose.

This. Plus, I don’t want to look prepubescent.
