Granted, I don't vacuum very often since I have a weekly cleaning lady. Maybe if I did my own cleaning I could see the point.

That just proves that you didn't know my grandmother. She had three houses, and I couldn't tell you how many vacuums she had.
With that kind of family $, why are you vacuuming at all?
