I heard they are moving the middle school to the TRY location in a couple of years. I know OP is far off from middle but TRY is pretty far IMO to drive to (and in the wrong direction for any downtown or hill commute) so that is kind of deal breaker for me as far as TR is concerned. It doesn't provide a MS that our family can logistically deal with so I'm not going to consider TR4 even though we could mange the commute ther easily. Just another thing to think about.

No not new.
SH's honors classes were started six or seven years ago. They're taught at grade level. Other classes are remedial, or specials/electives.
Math at Hobson is particularly weak, and behavior problems are, well, a problem (e.g. big fist fights outside the school every so often, cops come).

Depends who you talk to about SH. Some UMC families in the Cluster catchment area, particularly Watkins families, swear by SH's honors classes. Most won't touch the school. Same story since the 90s.
