No. Many of the places named in this thread are shitholes that people are actively trying to leave. I don’t know why anyone would want to go to these places willingly.
There are a whole lotta places in the world that ordinary people are actively trying to leave, while fancy pants tourists get treated like royalty. And those two things are not unrelated.

S.E. Asia: includes Singapore. Singapore is a shithole?
Malaysia, Thailand both essentially first world. Hardly shitholes.
I really like Vietnam too, would love to go back there.
So which countries in SE Asia are people "actively trying to leave?"
